Something is draining the lake that feeds fresh water to Eventide. The flow of fresh water to the city has reached a dangerous level. Water rations have been imposed and unrest is spreading. Accept this contract on behalf of the ruling council of Eventide. Make your way to the lake outside of Eventide, find who or what is diverting the water, stop them, and return flow to the city. This contract foresees that diving in the lake might be required, recommend bringing along a magic user or item that lets you breathe/communicate underwater.

Completed: The Adventurers traveled to the lake where they found that something was draining the lake of water. An engineering crew had gone missing. After finding the remains of the engineering crew, battling sirens of the lake, and plunging to the depths of the lake. They found an eldritch entity known as the Dark Devourer that seemed to be vibrating and siphoning off water into a pocket dimenstion. They battled the creature, destroying it. On its death, the dimension collapsed and a pressure wave of water burst from the creature. The lakes water level returned to normal and water flowed again to the city. Returning to Eventide, the adventurers were greeted by a grateful council and paid for their service
